Dubai plans 'moving' skyscraper
The world's first moving building, an 80-storey tower with revolving floors giving a shifting shape, will be built in Dubai, its architect says.
The Dynamic Tower design is made up of 80 pre-fabricated apartments which will spin independently of one another.
"It's the first building that rotates, moves, and changes shape," said architect David Fisher, who is Italian, at a news conference in New York.
"This building never looks the same, not once in a lifetime," he added.
The 420-metre (1,378-foot) building's apartments would spin a full 360 degrees, at voice command, around a central column by means of 79 giant power-generating wind turbines located between each floor.via

2009 Star VMAX Motorcycle
This one might just make the batmo-bike piss its pants. The 2009 Star VMAX Motorcycle is a serious street ride, a bundle of muscle and pavement-hungry speed wrapped in a sleek black package. This 4-cylinder, 1679cc engine moto gives off a mean, low rumble with a flick of the wrist. While its performance numbers are still a little mysterious, we’re already aching to hop on this thing and see what it can do. The only stat that confused us about this bike is the color– its available in “intense black”. We hear this is a big upgrade over the “pussy black” color that comes standard on most Suzuki mopeds…via
2008 BRP Can Am Spyder Roadster: All in One Ride
Half-motorcycle, half-sportscar, half-amazing, the BRP Can Am Spyder Roadster is one hell of an open air experience. Its liquid-cooled V-Twin engine gets 106 horsepower, pushing this lightweight three-wheeler to 110 mph. While the ride is open air, this Spyder Roadster is certainly not a motorcycle. Save for the lack of a cabin, this baby rides more like a sportscar. Its handling and performance will be quite familiar to anyone with four-wheeled road experience… making for an easy transition into one hell of a good time.

From the look, it is quite convincing for me it could suddenly turn into some robot. We expect to see it revealed early next year, months before it debuts on the silver screen in Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen. The Corvette Centennial Design Concept was developed as part of GM’s 100 Year celebration. This design study integrates key design elements of previous Corvettes as well as other GM vehicles, namely the Camaro. [Jalopnik]
