Tokyoflash has recently unveiled another uneasy-to-read wristwatch. The Tokyoflash Rogue Watch comes with a cool green LED light that secretly tells you the current time. The outer ring of small dots represents minutes, every fifth dot being slightly smaller to distinguish five minute groups. The ring of large blocks represents rough minutes, the position of the gap indicating approximate minutes in groups of five. The inner ring of blocks represents hours, the position of the gap in the ring showing the current hour as on a clock face.

Day&Night watch is no timepiece

If you’re looking for a new watch, the Day&Night by Romain Jerome isn’t exactly going to be your first choice. It’s not because it isn’t cool looking. It’s pretty awesome, actually. There’s just one problem. It doesn’t tell time.

In very post-apocalyptic fashion, the Day&Night watch has no display or hands to tell the hours, minutes or seconds. Rather, it can only tell you two things: whether it is day or night.
According to the official website, the watch works by showing:
A new interpretation of Time based around two Tourbillons operating sequentially. The Day Tourbillon operates during the day, defining the wearer’s period of activity, and stops after twelve hours, handing over to the Night Tourbillon dedicated to man’s own private sphere.
Pretty cool, but what if you need to know when it’s time to go on your lunch break? Just knowing it’s “day” isn’t going to cut it.

Clothing company Quiksilver comes back with a new timepiece called the Ray. This wearable gadget looks old with its analog device that has a 27-jewel movement. The Ray produces a minimal carbon footprint on our environment and will be shipped in eco-friendly packaging. The company also confirms that these watches will be shipped via sea instead of air to reduce CO2 emissions. The Quiksilver Ray Watch will be available in a limited quantity. Timex TX54 for Your Thumbnail

The TX54 is a concept design which featured in the global design competition organized by Timex in collaboration with Core77. The design competition was held to commemorate 150 years of watch crafting and time keeping. The device is transparent and needs to be kept at the thumbnail or stays clear till the time it is activated. To activate or check time, one can just glance at the time when needed. It is small, chic and minimalist. Of course one can simply glance at their cell phone than going for another gadget but with its looks and various modes it a nice way to keep time.
