Nokia unveils 8800 Carbon Arte luxury phone

Nokia has just announced its latest luxurious handset, the 8800 Carbon Arte. Milking the 8800 product line for all that it can, Nokia has built this latest handset from high-end materials such as carbon fiber and titanium.
Despite its luxury casing, this cell phone supports only tri-band GSM (900/1800/1900MHz), with UMTS (2100MHz) support for European 3G networks. Bluetooth is on-board, as well, with A2DP support for stereo headsets. A whopping 4GB of internal storage provides plenty of music and photo storage capacity.
The Nokia 8800 Carbon Arte packs a punch with its 3.2 megapixel autofocus camera, while an on-board photo editing suite makes it simple to edit your pictures. Unique features include the ability to tap the area below the screen to reveal the display clock, and users can simple flip the phone face down to silence an incoming call.
The Nokia 8800 Carbon Arte is set to be available in Q3, priced at EUR1100 (US$1616) before taxes and subsidies.

Stella Artois PSP Rekindles Our Interest in Two Unlike Fads

The combination isn't exactly the most obvious, but hey, I'm a gamer, and hey, I like paying $5 a glass for a pretentious beer that tastes identical to Budweiser. The Stella Artois PSP was manufactured in a limited edition for the Fosters employees who'd be brewing the "import" in Australia for Australia—part of the official "please don't spit in our delicate European beer" bonus. Nokia Rolls Out N85 and N79 Smartphones

Nokia has dropped a couple new N-Series phones into the UK chute today, and they are expected to follow stateside soon. The N85 slider (left) appears to be replacing the N81, and the N79 candybar does the same for the N78. Gaming and music seems to be the focus of the N85, which adds N-Gage support and ditches the built-in storage in favor of an 8GB micro SD card. An AMOLED screen reduces power consumption for up to 28 hours of music playback. The N79 bumps the N78's camera up to 5MP and adds an LED flash and swappable faceplates. All feature Wi-Fi, GPS and 3G across the board, but the rumored US 3G support we're still waiting to hear for sure on. [Pocket Lint via Electronistaviagizmodo]

DSLR fans will rejoice knowing that the impending Canon 50D will come with an EF-S 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 IS kit lens option.
