Mirror’s Edge Introduces Never Before Experienced Games
Mirror’s Edge is an upcoming first person action-adventure video game being developed by EA Digital Illusions CE (DICE) for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Windows-based PCs. Mirror’s Edge introduces players to Faith, a “runner” in a world where communication channels are highly monitored and the movement of human traffic is closely watched. When Faith’s sister gets framed for a murder she did not commit, Faith finds herself on the edge of the city, on the wrong side of the law. The cool thing about the game is that the developer introduces an entirely new concept of physicality that defies intuition, almost matrix like. In the game you get to see “true” first person view on hand to hand combat. You also get to perform string of movement combos, like running and jumping through obstacles and buildings in a sequence. Expect never-before-seen sense of movement and perspective, you will be drawn into Faith’s world. To be released in November 2008. [IGN]
The Controversial Mad World On Wii
Mad World is a bloody, futuristic action game that involves alot of bare knuckle punching and kicking plus grabbing everything from chainsaw to pipe to hack and slash your way. The graphics will look somewhat like Frank Miller’s Sin City the movie. From a third-person perspective, the player controls Jack, a hulking brute with a chainsaw on his arm, as he competes in a violent TV show. Using the Nunchuk to move Jack, by gesturing the Wii Remote, players perform brutal melee attacks on enemies. Also Jack can use objects around the environment, such as impaling an enemy’s head with a caution sign in an ironic way. The game is not without controversy due to its violent content. However, in my point of view, nothing instigates curiosity more than controversy. [Wiki]

Tokyoflash Retrofit Watch
Time and tide waits for no man, they say. Well, I can’t help you with the tide - ever since my grandmother was swallowed practically whole by some quicksand during a holiday on the East coast of Scotland I’ve been petrified of the sea - but time, yes, I am your wristwatch saviour.
Run, don’t walk, to Tokyoflash and snap up this chunkily gorgeous retro-styled timepiece. Slick with bargain juice at a paltry $128, it’s a great two-fingered salute to the drably predictable “waterproof to 100m” multi-dial divers’ watches men are supposed to like.

Day&Night watch is no timepiece
If you’re looking for a new watch, the Day&Night by Romain Jerome isn’t exactly going to be your first choice. It’s not because it isn’t cool looking. It’s pretty awesome, actually. There’s just one problem. It doesn’t tell time.
In very post-apocalyptic fashion, the Day&Night watch has no display or hands to tell the hours, minutes or seconds. Rather, it can only tell you two things: whether it is day or night.
According to the official website, the watch works by showing:
A new interpretation of Time based around two Tourbillons operating sequentially. The Day Tourbillon operates during the day, defining the wearer’s period of activity, and stops after twelve hours, handing over to the Night Tourbillon dedicated to man’s own private sphere.
Pretty cool, but what if you need to know when it’s time to go on your lunch break? Just knowing it’s “day” isn’t going to cut it.
