Becker’s Crocodile Rugged Navigation System
If you want a rugged and water-resistant GPS navigation system, so you might need a “Crocodile.” Becker’s Crocodile is actually the nickname of the Traffic Assist 100. The gadget is specially made for motorcycles. It is a rubber-coated and offers a visual or acoustic warning signals for speed limits. The system also offers 2GB of integrated flash memory with preloaded Navteq data for 42 European countries with text-to-speech instructions in 28 languages. The large 4.3-inch color touch-screen display was designed to make bikers easy to control it. The Crocodile also comes loaded with more than 1,000 photo realistic 3D images of European landmarks, including the Reichstag Building in Berlin. Project Inkwell 'Spark' Aiming for OLPC's Head With Its Handheld Form Factor
Project Inkwell's Spark is not only a potential OLPC competitor because of its handheld, UMPC form factor and K-12 educational focus, but also because it doesn't look like it's made exclusively for the preschool user base. The Spark was developed in conjunction with the design firm Ideo, and though details are vague, the visuals are somewhat revealing. The Spark looks roughly the size of a PSP, with a +/- rocker switch and scroll wheel adorning the left and right sides of the handheld.
There's no mention of touchscreen functionality, but the screen looks to be lined with buttons and comes with a case housing a foldout keyboard, plus room for a mouse and spare battery. Less visible features would include Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. It's still too early to talk release or pricing details, but this seems like a concept that's very feasible to produce. Peugeot Stylight Concept with Big WindScreen and Unique Aerodynamic Design
The new concept car coming from the automobile giant Peugeot Design Competition is surely a sophisticated design. Designed by Ognyan Bozhilov the car is a small 3-seater city car perfect for a small family to drive around the city. This designing marvel is a hybrid system with a small 1.6 liter HDI engine and an electric motor and the engine is placed above the rear wheels. The reason for this was for overall weight distribution and the unique aerodynamic design makes it possible to touch high speeds. This giving that driving pleasure without compromising on the environmental aspect, something which seems to be one of the primary belief that Peugeot is believing in. So go green and enjoy![via]

LG has come up with their own version of digital photo frame, introducing LG DP889 Digital Picture Frame/DVD Player. But this time, their DP889 unit not only features an 8-inch LCD display but also has an integrated DVD player. Japanese manufacturer Polaroid is ready to release the 3.5-inch digital photo frame in pearl white and black. Known as the XSJ-00350, this photo frame offers 320×240 pixels, 3MB built in memory, and supports all digital memory card formats including SDHC/SD, and MMC. The Polaroid digital frame draws power from AC power or the USB port. Its rechargeable battery provides two hours of battery life.
