BMW Vision EfficientDynamics




The Vision EfficientDynamics is a concept vehicle for future by BMW which is a low carbon hybrid supercar aiming to achieve the premium end of the auto market with its fuel-efficient design. A three-cylinder turbodiesel engine is empowering this vehicle supported by a couple of electric motors. This car can go 0-100 kilometers per hour in just 4.8 seconds with a top speed of 250 kmph and consumes 3.76 liters of diesel per 100 kilometers. It features an electric mode for day to day use that can be charged through plug-in module. The vehicle stores the power it lithium polymer cells, allowing it to drive for roughly 50km on a single charge, which can be extended through its regenerative breaking system.

The Honda Native concept comprises an electric engine which is powered by heavy-duty lithium-ion battery and can house 3 persons including the driver. This ultra compact car with great aerodynamic features has been designed for the massively congested future traffic where speed will be ignored over low space riding efficiency. Its down to the ground design will allow the car to offer smooth riding experience to the riders. The exterior parts of the vehicle are made of photocromic materials that make it possible for the car to change its color according to the light, temperature and other surrounding environmental factors.

A German based company named GRACE has created the world’s first e-motorbike which may however seem a futuristic version of a usual bike, but in fact, this e-motorbike can be run on today’s street. GRACE has handmade this bike using parts from formula one and euro-fighter planes which will be launched for test purpose shortly. The handlebar contains all the controls of the bike such as light, alarm system, battery management and other necessary stuffs which have made it easier to ride than any other conventional bikes. The indestructible frame gives the e-motorbike enough durability to sustain in rough surface and bad weather condition.

Insecta, Futuristic Car Inspired By A Grasshopper




Insecta, as the name suggests is something related to insects, exactly what the designer Shao Yung Yeh thought of while designing this new revolutionized car. Inspired by a grasshopper he designed this car with such a unique combination of colors and design. This is a battery powered personal vehicle that looks much like a grasshopper with its legs connected to the central chassis as a thorax. Just as the abdomen of the grasshopper, a battery pack is fixed at the bottom pretending it more like an insect. Audi O Green Car Concept



The Audi O green car concept designed by Czech based designer Ondrej Jirec combines a stylish and sports car with a powerful audio system. Though the exterior uses the usual Audi styling, especially the grill which is neatly placed between the headlights; the glass windows in the doors are extending to the bottom adding to the overall design of the vehicle. The designer says that inspiration includes the previous Audi model, i-pod and music. It features an audio system, bluetooth and internet connectivity and a built in 650 GB hard drive. Peugeot Stylight Concept with Big WindScreen and Unique Aerodynamic Design



The new concept car coming from the automobile giant Peugeot Design Competition is surely a sophisticated design. Designed by Ognyan Bozhilov the car is a small 3-seater city car perfect for a small family to drive around the city. This designing marvel is a hybrid system with a small 1.6 liter HDI engine and an electric motor and the engine is placed above the rear wheels. The reason for this was for overall weight distribution and the unique aerodynamic design makes it possible to touch high speeds. 2009 Pontiac Solstice Coupe




Get the great looks of the convertible without soft top with the 2009 Pontiac Solstice Coupe ($TBA). Available in standard (173 hp) and GXP (260 hp) versions, the coupe is pretty much mechanically identical to the convertible, save for the roof. Who knew Mexico would be the home of one of the best-looking sports cars in recent memory? The Mastretta MXT (£32,999; 2009) is the country's first car, but it's no rookie effort. Boasting 240 hp from a turbocharged 2.0L engine, the car moves from 0-60 in less than five seconds with a top speed of around 150 mph, all thanks to its curb weight of less than a ton. NASA Car Concept with No Door and Can Spin 360 degree



The new two-seater NASA concept car is surely an eye catcher not just for its unique and innovative design but also in its ability to spin 360 degree at the same spot. Shelby Supercar Ultimate Aero


The Shelby Supercar Ultimate Aero electric car boasts the top speed of 220 mph and at least 500-HP. The car will be available for a limited quantity (only 50 units). The Ultimate Aero EV prototype will be ready by February and the company plans to release four production models by December this year. The Shelby Supercar describes it as a “pollution-free, engineering marvel with an exotic supercar exterior.” [Wired]
