Sony has showcased their super expensive Sony Sontina speaker at the IFA 2008. It is a 6 foot tall speaker that produces a 360 degree pool of sound by vibrating every corner of the organic cylinder. The speaker delivers a high quality sound with a room enhancing illumination. The Sountina Glass Speakers will be released in the future for ¥1,000,000 (about €6,500 / $10,000).
