No idea on the specifications, but always wait for an official announcement or release of a device before you make a purchase to make sure that everything's legit.[UBERGIZMO]
PSP and 360 Chatpad are a match hacked in heaven
Some dedicated hackers have finally managed to get the PSP and Microsoft's Xbox 360 Chatpad typing. There are still a few kinks to smooth out, but the hard part seems over, with l0rdnic0 managing a tiny bit of soldiering using a PSP remote cable and some software from the Open Keyboard Project. It's all still pretty nerdy at the moment, and we're still miffed at that Logic 3 getting cancelled way back when, but we suppose this will have to do.[ENGADGET]

This open-cockpit street beast transforms at higher speeds, with the rear fins lifting off the ground to reduce friction and drag. As the rear section lifts, this four-wheeler becomes two, making this Monza roadster a bird in flight with its front tires planted firmly on the pavement. While this concept may never see the open road, we must salute designer Iman Maghsoudi and the people at Ferrari on this collab… [GEARCRAVE]

Google Chrome: Anatomy Of A Logo
Though it's in no way official, I happen to enjoy Google Blogoscoped's analysis of the Google Chrome logo and agree with the influences listed. In addition to the hodge podge of handheld Simons, Pokeballs, Firefox, webcams and Google logos, Neatorama also throws in the Sal-9000 eye from 2010 for good measure. It also kinda looks like that robot lamp from yesterday (obviously, they're not remotely related). Anything else this reminds you of? [Google Blogoscoped via NeatoramaviaGizmodo]

Project Inkwell 'Spark' Aiming for OLPC's Head With Its Handheld Form Factor
Project Inkwell's Spark is not only a potential OLPC competitor because of its handheld, UMPC form factor and K-12 educational focus, but also because it doesn't look like it's made exclusively for the preschool user base. The Spark was developed in conjunction with the design firm Ideo, and though details are vague, the visuals are somewhat revealing. The Spark looks roughly the size of a PSP, with a +/- rocker switch and scroll wheel adorning the left and right sides of the handheld.
There's no mention of touchscreen functionality, but the screen looks to be lined with buttons and comes with a case housing a foldout keyboard, plus room for a mouse and spare battery. Less visible features would include Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. It's still too early to talk release or pricing details, but this seems like a concept that's very feasible to produce.
