The TX54 is a concept design which featured in the global design competition organized by Timex in collaboration with Core77. The design competition was held to commemorate 150 years of watch crafting and time keeping. The device is transparent and needs to be kept at the thumbnail or stays clear till the time it is activated. To activate or check time, one can just glance at the time when needed. It is small, chic and minimalist. Of course one can simply glance at their cell phone than going for another gadget but with its looks and various modes it a nice way to keep time.

Another innovative design concept from Nokia, the morph concept. Featured in The Museum of Modern Art ?Design and The Elastic Mind? exhibition, the Morph concept device is a bridge between highly advanced technologies and their potential benefits to end-users. We probably see this technology another 5-7 years in the future, by using nanotechnology, hopefully can lead to low cost manufacturing solutions and the possibility of integrating complex functionality at a low price

From the website :

“Morph concept technologies might create fantastic opportunities for mobile devices: * Newly-enabled flexible and transparent materials blend more seamlessly with the way we live* Devices become self-cleaning and self-preserving* Transparent electronics offering an entirely new aesthetic dimension* Built-in solar absorption might charge a device, whilst batteries become smaller, longer lasting and faster to charge* Integrated sensors might allow us to learn more about the environment around us, empowering us to make better choices”

LG Launches KF750 Secret

Audio from the media player can be enjoyed wirelessly thanks to Bluetooth A2DP support.
The Secret will come equipped for light business work, too, thanks to its email client and Office document viewer. Google Maps and YouTube applications also come pre-installed. The KF750 Secret has 100MB of internal storage for media files and the like, and can handle microSD cards up to 4GB in size for additional storage headroom.
The tri-band GSM/EDGE, 2100MHz HSDPA/UMTS capable KF750 is launching initially in Europe, with Asia and South America getting the device a bit later. LG states that the 116g (4.1oz) KF750 comes equipped with a battery that is good for up to 10.8 days of standby time or 3.8 hours of talk time. No release date or pricing information was announced.
